We started with today's classics, which are opulent and full-bodied, followed by the development of complex cuvées with a strong focus on gastronomic use - lean and finesse as an aperitif, sometimes even as an accompaniment to food.
Non-alcoholic menu accompaniment and the concept of ‘food pairing below 0’ were at the centre of the creation of our Inspirations 4.0 to 4.7 and our 'GRAD°WANDERUNG'. All still, fruit- or wine-based and expressive with a natural residual sweetness - another tool for the sanselier, i.e. the alcohol-free sommelier.
The desire to give alcohol-free wines less sweetness and a hint of fermentation flavours in future led us to dealcoholisation with vacuum distillation. It was clear from the outset that we wanted to have the necessary technology available in our manufactory in order to be able to continuously improve quality.

Jörg Geiger is known for his combination of traditional knowledge and innovative methods that lead to unique creations. He is committed to the preservation of healthy soils and old fruit varieties and has made it his mission to increase this appreciation of meadow fruit in the future.
He discovered his passion for processing old fruit varieties as a young, trained chef in the family-run catering business - but he was particularly inspired by the "diva" of old pear varieties: the Champagne roast pear.

Pioneer and original
Jörg Geiger, a self-taught chef, discovered his fascination for meadow fruit and the production of drinks from it early on in his parents' family business. This gave rise to a deep passion for old fruit varieties and their cultivation and processing. Drinks made from old apple and pear varieties are now enjoying new fame and popularity. Jörg Geiger owes this not least to the "diva" of old pear varieties, the Champagne Bratbirne.
Today, Jörg Geiger is known far beyond the country's borders for his knowledge of WIesen fruit trees. Whether modern knowledge or old techniques and methods, Jörg Geiger combines tradition and innovation. This results in unique WiesenObst creations. Today, sustainable and nature-preserving work is his driving force and constant motivation. His focus is on preserving healthy soils and ancient trees and fruit varieties. He wants to make WIesenObst owners proud again and give the harvest a new appreciation.
